UMDI study of the IT industry showcases its role as the hub of the Massachusetts technology economy.

The IT industry is widely recognized as a driving force of Massachusetts' innovation economy. In 2008, a consortium of corporate, industry association, government leaders formed to investigate the evolving of today's Massachusetts IT industry and to better understand the substantial contributions it makes to the Massachusetts economy.
