NFFS services: Nonprofit Crisis Response
At some point in time almost all nonprofits face a crisis. Staffers make mistakes, a problematic situation goes viral, a fund development director departs suddenly, or a major funder stops giving. Our Crisis Response team helps nonprofit organizations weather fiscal emergencies and other critical challenges. We provide customized technical assistance, consultation, and intervention to address fiscal emergencies, funding shortfall/lost funding, chronic funding challenges, and fund development staff turnover including:
- Support related to recruitment, hiring, training, and coaching/supervision of lead fund development staff.
- Strategies to resolve rapid turnover of fund development staff and increase retention.
- Facilitated emergency meetings with board/staff/stakeholders/community.
- Interim management team to stabilize operations and manage transitions.
